Balance multiplayer race rewards (hotfix included)

The current amound of money and rp you get after races are quite reasonable, atleast for me.

But getting into a race can be fucking annoying, players make race without putting a fucking limit to the lobby and they kick everyone who joins, and we don't even see the host score outside of the lobby.

About quick race, fuck... it's obviously better than the previous qr system, but these days nobody plays quick race.
It needs a better car selection, it's so bad that we can't save the selection and the same car with same score AND the fucking drift mode.. that should have a separated selection.
Maybe quick race should have boosted reward.

Right you are RareTea. I kinda remember days before a Futo nerf. And we were all about to upgrade it till 300, you never know, then easily race them newbies in Fast Race (to farm ofc). But those days passed by nearly one year ago as well Big Grin

I respect your opinion of course, but would you guys be mad if the rewards increased for everyone like I suggested? I think nobody would be against it in the end no matter how reasonable the rewards seem to them.

Alternatively you can create a new driver, do some long races and finish last for couple of hours, maybe one day if you want. Then tell me if the rewards are ok or not. Just look how much time youve spent doing it and what rewards you got and you will understand the problem. So far the only people I met who like current rewards are veterans and other people that win a lot, and very rarely lose. And even if they lose, theyve got milions and basically every item in the game anyway so they dont care. Its a whole different story when placing good or bad decides whether you buy a new part/car or spend several more hours grinding.

Hey, just do the daily shits, you can get ~3000$ every day, with diamondhunt, magazine (you might find freerun money too), daily tasks and time trial.. 3000 in 15 minutes per day is a lot of money,

And how about RP? And what about people that would like to grind by actually playing the game? (racing).

Hey i got 3 drivers in total that have already unlocked A class. It's not that hard to grind your way up. I also keep losing on my Primo when i just started raising the account so i understand that, but the progressing pace seems fine to me. Boosting the reward up a bit for 2nd to 4th seems like a better option for me since you can skyrocket for constantly winning if 1st place rewards got raised.

Well I wouldnt really mind boosting only the not-winners rewards, but that would start such a shitstorm that it would never get in the game. Boosting rewards for everyone is fair and doesnt discriminate and is the only acceptable way for both casuals and hardcore compeititive racers.

You don't really get it. The faster players reach A class, the sooner they will find the game having nothing left to achieve, then considering leaving after. Progressing so fast is the thing i am avoiding so people got longer playing span.

What you dont get is that people also leave when progress is too slow. Besides after beating the game there are top times, crew matches and other stuff to "farm". Thats the reason why a ton of players keep playing MMOs after they beat them - PVP, medals, rankings, clan wars, etc.

The more farmable stuff in the game the better, but its not really required and in some cases its counter-productive. For example if you allow people to PVP but they cant win or get a fair PVP unless they farm a specific car or part, farming quickly becomes a burden, an annoying thing you have to do to start enjoying the game. And the more there is of this kind of farming, the more you want to quit the game.

The whole situation could be solved by having singleplayer races with bots as the normal way of farming and then the multiplayer races representing the PVP. In this case I would gladly keep the rewards as they are now. Actually thats how many MMO racing games work. PVP is just a gamemode when you have the mood, not neccesity. However, Im getting the vibe that this server wants to be multiplayer based, in which case we need to boost rewards in PVP races (because there are no other races and time trial is not really a race and is limited in usage).

The progressing is not that slow enough to make people unmotivated to grind their way up. If it does for you, i am sorry. Also, not everyone are into toptimes and all the end game activities. The "mainstream" users you mentioned earlier are mostly end playing after they maxed their dream cars on A class.
