Before talking about test drive, something first. Keep RP-locked cars available to view in dealer at least.
You get into any dealer, pick any car, a button there to test drive it. Stock car, no extras. Maybe drop player into a private racetrack to get the feel of it. RP-locked car should be accessible to test drives too, just you can't buy it until you got it unlocked using RP.
EDIT: Unique cars too.

How are you supposed to Test Drive an unique car? You gotta find the parts for it so the dealer can "rebuild" it. You cant test drive something, that hasnt been build. You could test drive it once you unlocked it tho.

I agree that all cars should be visible in car lot, but locked. Like how it used to be. Test drive maybe, but only for cars that you have the right RP for. A Mananewbie should not be able to test drive an A class car for example.

Test drive I think maybe will be possible to make after URL update (speedway)
