Bad performance (low fps) - Gibon - 16-03-2017

Idk whats happening but in game i have only 30-40fps, sometimes its up to 60 but just for like 2-3 seconds, i have lag spikes in races too so i cant really compete with other players. I remember when i was playing on this server in November last year, it was all good back in the days, but now its triggering me. Here are my pc components:

Processor-AMD FX 6100 Six-Core 3.30GHz
RAM-1x8GB Kingston 2133MHz
Graphic-AMD Radeon HD7970 3GB GDDR5

I can easily launch GTA V or Witcher 3 on this PC, but gta sa is not working well idk why. I did research on the internet before i wrote this thread and i found nothing (literally), used some txt packs, set MTA to use only 1 processor from 6. It cant be my internet connection cuz GTA V Online is working ok, CS:GO too, Rainbow Six Siege and H1Z1 too, maybe someone had this problem before, please help xD

Try disabling shaders, 3d sounds, reducing far clip distance.

RE: Bad performance (low fps) - Gibon - 16-03-2017

Already tried it, that was my 1st step, obvious when fps are low

RE: Bad performance (low fps) - Spotlight - 16-03-2017

What has actually changed since you last played? Did you format your PC?
Maybe you have installed something weird? If so, scan your PC.

RE: Bad performance (low fps) - Gibon - 16-03-2017

I just get bored by playing it and downloaded it again like 2 days ago, i formated pc once in my break. If no one will tell me something that will help ill just format it again tommorow, for windows 10 again (im on 7 right now) and will clean my pc too, there is a lot of dust in it i think. If format will not work then maybe my pc is just too bad for this game :|

RE: Bad performance (low fps) - Spotlight - 16-03-2017

It's not configuration issue. There might be something wrong with software that is on your computer, drivers and there might be many other causes. I recommend you to scan your PC. You can also get your latest working drivers or update existing.

You can also try changing screen resolution. Apps sometimes behave weirdly if their resolution doesn't match screen properties.

Will try it for sure, thanks for help tho.

RE: Bad performance (low fps) - Gibon - 17-03-2017

I tried all, nothing worked, now im after cleaning the pc and will format it, we will see how it will work after that, wish it will work well Big Grin

RE: Bad performance (low fps) - Szymio - 17-03-2017

Wait, why did you set Mta to use 1 core instead of 6? Wouldn't it be obvious that more cores active = more performance, therefore a fps raise?

RE: Bad performance (low fps) - Quindo - 18-03-2017

Using single core may result in better performance because gta sa can't use more than one core anyways. It's like limiting it just to make processor focus on that single core more.
