RE: Update the ingame rules. - Orbacle - 29-07-2018

From my past wikia managing experience, any controversial situation was discussed and then a solution was explicitly stated in the rules to clarify exactly that one situation.
There is a popular principle that pretty much applies in any community worldwide.
Since this situation causes many arguments, I say that it has to be stated explicitly in the rules, even though it is true that an "unwritten law" of using such emojis existed long time ago. Thus all these past mutes are pretty much illegal imo (unless spammed obviously).

It raises another question though, what is allowed and what is not, banning all text emoticons would be too excessive (because simple ones like :D exist), banning just lennys and shrugs doesn't touch other unicode-containing emoticons.
So IMO probably best solution is banning all unicode-incorporating symbol emojis?

Bunny just posted this above, but:

Then of course you had to say something like this to a completely random dude just to cheer him up:

Not like he was already frustrated enough.

Usually I prefer to have lots of moderators on the server, as I've been always following the rules and never had any problems with them. But this is totalitarianism in action.

Or better: Don't ban any

You guys are missing one thing. By following his logic, or whoever is supporting this decision, Lenny and Shrug is considered as a flood or spam. But what's the exact difference between "¯\_(ツ)_/¯" and a simple "Smile", exactly? You can effectively spam with both.

RE: Update the ingame rules. - Z-Boy - 29-07-2018

Well either way it's not in the Ingame rules so you just muted us for no reason. I will use lennys untill i see something about them in the ingame rules.

exactly what I was saying

As for you Bunny, you already got punished for a said mistake couple of days ago, but still you decide to do it once more time, using "not iisted on the rules screen" as an excuse yet again. You are being rebellious. If it's not written anywhere else, doesn't mean that you are freely allowed to do things as you may like, there's a thing called common sense. Do you still do bad things if your mother tells you not to do that again? take that as an example and apply it here.

I am upvoting for an update of in game rules to prevent this mess to happen in the future.

Meanwhile I'm being "rebellious" people get away with stuff like this:

That I didn't know... Well, add the rule. And please, for the love of God and the Universe, also say WHY you don't allow it so there aren't any discussions afterwards. Some brackets stating that would be perfect, smth like: bla bla bla no lennies bla bla bla (they break game thingy no use ples u get moot)

I am going a bit over my newly settled principles, but, lol, I agree with him, and he also didn't insult any physical person, it's practically your fault that you feel bad about that thing. (did not assume you did, lord zucc don't strike me)

RE: Update the ingame rules. - Bunny - 29-07-2018

Again to my unanswered question:

Should the duration of the mute for the shrug, lenny or I-don't-fucking-know-how-they're-called be longer than a insulting prick in global?
