The feel of speed

Hello dear players, hello dear NFS:SA team. When i was driving my turismo 300+ km/h i was thinking that can be better experience with some more feel of speed effects, something like this https://youtu.be/E_-KYkiahPw?t=1m37s is brilliant, that camera shaking is not too complex to do in my opinion and its not FPS killer too, it looks great, it makes the feel of power, of driving a beast xd That effect will getting stronger in higher speeds just like in that gameplay from NFS PS. Yes there is some shader blur effects but it just need something more, and this is what i like to see. Of course somebody can turn it off if its annoying for him,.

The sound of the video you've included is pure cancer.

But I like that suggestion and also thought about it in the past as well.
Here a better video with such an effect in gta sa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpGGTtdZk48 or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CReHWzO4Mb4
But unlike in the videos, the effect shouldn't be that extreme and only start at 300 kmh upwards.

Thanks for the videos straight from GTA SA, i absolute agree with you

Uhh... Yeah, when I'm doing 160km/h in my car I can assure you I ain't shaking around... And if I were, I think I'd shit myself, but, I guess for each their own.
Also, I know you're talking 300km/h and up, but, 160km/h is as fast as I can get my car going in a highway, so, it's not like I don't try, 'kay?
And it's not like I can do 300 in the Lambos inside the workshop either...
But, if such an effect was in as option in the game, I wouldn't use it, lol. Just saying. xD

I don't think only camera shaking will give you the feel of speed you wanted. I want to suggest a dynamic FOV instead, or this +dynamic FOV.
What i meant with dynamic FOV is that the FOV changes depends on how fast your car curently moving, It gets narrower as your car speeds up and it gets widen as your car slows down.
Such effect can be seen on Burnout 3 when you used the boost. It also can be seen on the NFS Pro Street video you posted here

That dynamic FOV is already at NFS:SA, camera is close at the trunk of your car but when you speed up a lot the FOV get a lot wider, its like on older NFS games

Would be pretty retarded if you would do. The effect we are talking about is a camera shake, not the car or driver.
I think it would be a lot better than any blur effect, which is mostly just disturbing in races and the effect starts very early.
But on straight roads, where you reach 300 kmh+ it would be a nice effect to give back the feeling of speed, which is almost not existing when blur is turned off.

Never realized it actually exists. It's too weak or probably i can't sense it because i set my FOV to 110 on my MTA settings, gonna test it later.
But yeah, making this effect stronger should be a good idea imo. Or add another shader effects with camera shake + stronger dynamic FOV maybe?
