After an unofficial and improvised drag event on the server 2 weeks ago , i hac the idea to make it "official" and more better by showing you how it could be like next time .
So , i made my own prototype script/mapping for this project . It could make a big impact and much like an real event like Race Wars from FNF .






All opinions , suggestions to improve it are opened .
PS : let me remind you , it's a prototype so needs improvements and more stuff to make perfect

There's a small problem with this road. It can't be used because it slows down some cars and some other cars are unaffected. It sounds stupid, but R* made zones on which your car gets slower. I'm not sure what it depends on (I tested changing handling but the problem was the same, on other cars it was still nearly nonexistent).

It's the reason why the SF highway drag was shortened.

so then , we can choose an other road , but the fact is , which road we have to pick with less lags/slowdown possible
and i avoid highway roads + airport , but if we don't have the choose then airport is the only way

i have more roads affected by this issue , so let's avoid red lines

Other highways than these 2 should be fine. You can even use other roads if you want to.

just one question to be clear , freerun and race mode are seperate worlds right ? i mean , does mapping will appear too in race mode and can block some ways ?

Yes, they are in separated dimensions. For freerun we use 255 dimension btw.

Location has been changed to Santa Maria Beach 
Here's the entrance

Entrance is now controlled automactly by a system i made . 1st round is free entrance , so everyone can enter the event ( maybe we can fix a number limit of players ) and the winners of 1st round have to wait the 2nd round before entering again . 2nd round until final round is only for qualified players (1st and 2nd of 4) , if a player not qualified or didn't play the 1st round won't be able to enter and gate won't open for you .

Some ways are blocked for avoid intruders , and this pink marker (only for showing you) is an exit/quit gate , that means if you decide to quit before you play , you'll be in not qualified players list then won't be able to enter event again . So , be smart and choose your car before entering .

This is the start grid , improved since the last video and we can put 4 players max at same time and you can't cross player lines because invisible walls i put on all the road i'll show you . Street Lights are synchronized for all 4 players playing at same time .

After a race is over , you'll be teleported to blue marker if you won / are 2nd , or to pink marker if you lose

But everyone deserves to watch this event , so i put a 2nd road near the drag track .

As you can see the large length of the track . For this test , i changed max speed of my infernus to 320km/h and i reached finish in 20 seconds .

And for finish , the end of both roads .

For managing rounds , 1st round is free so then , until a certain hour or player limit if we decide to put , i put a command to disable the free entrance and then starting the 2nd round . It's a question of management and we don't have to being lost on what's going at a certain moment, so we have to be careful also to players who can play twice a same round like last official event .

I like it, sounds good.
If you will need some integration with NFSSA gamemode, feel free to ask me in PM about some custom events, datas, checking etc.
