I have a Futo, but, I honestly didn't notice much difference after it being nerfed (maybe because I never used anything other than stock tires, I only used that car for drift), I can't say much about the Futo nerf because I simply do not know.
I always stay out of the "buff/nerf" discussions because they almost never affect me. I don't really care about the car's performance or dyno (although I do know how to do dynos pretty well, I just don't wanna go to that effort in most cars. So far I only messed with 3, although those saw a great improvement) because whatever the car I am racing with, I always tend to lose, and I don't really mind it. Anyone half decent can beat me in NFS:SA nowadays, I'm not a competive gamer, I'm only here for the fancy car tuning. I'm not good at racing. Back when I was younger, like, 5 to 7 years ago, I was good! I always played dirty, but heck, I dominated NFSW completely. Now I already lost it... I had my fun.
So, sorry if I can't give solid opinions about certain aspect of the game, I just don't have the experience for it. My opinions are more based on logic and me just reflecting on the matter rather than experience, so, take them with a grain of salt (is that the right term?).
Whatever the devs decide or whatever changes are made to the cars' handling, I'm fine with it. As long as I can keep tuning pretty shiny cars and have an easy way to afford them without having to win races or beat someone to a pulp, I'm okay.
With that out of the way, if making adjustments to a car or the dyno will fix an issue everyone is having and everyone is aware of, well, what's really stopping you? And that question is directed at the devs. If they are not "doing things about what everyone is talking about" - or however I say it, I'm already sleepy - I suppose they got a reason too, and everyone would profit from knowing that reason exactly if it wasn't already mentioned before. Even is the answer is "we don't know how to deal with the situation yet" or "we are leaving that to fix at a later time", it's always good to know their intentions... So, does anyone know the reasons why they aren't messing with this kind of stuff yet? Because there's countless threads with different solutions and many of those are already repeating themselves, so, whoever can do something about, gather them up, list the pros and cons of each idea, compare them and do something even if just giving feedback, then, pin that thread so the next person who makes another one of these can never miss it and has a good base from where to develop his own idea from, if still needed.
Unorganised ideas here and there growing like weeds (even if great) don't tend to stick much or for long and its contents end up being lost.
I should know, just 4 hours ago I was digging out some old thread also about URL ideas. I actually had to use Google and recall things I had said in the thread to find it, because, I swear, I couldn't see it anywhere in the forum! That thing was hard to find!
